I am taking courses in Business Information. Some research that I might do for theses courses could be evaluating best practices for working with difficult people. List some ways that work the best when approached by and angry person. Listing also ways that do not work. Possibly research why it is important to be able to communicate professionally. I could research customer service and the effect poor customer service has on a business.
I also could research the changes that Idaho State University has made with their customer service. Why does ISU have the new slogan "ISU Cares". What does that mean? Did ISU have a time when they did not care? Did ISU notice a change in enrollment when ISU showed it cared? Are there studies to show that it is important to show students the university cares about them? Another question I would ask is who is ISU? Who would I talk to if I feel like ISU doesn't care? Is ISU a person with feelings?
